Early French badges are hard to find nowadays and even well used copies bring serious money. There are many varieties. Most badges were numbered on the tab. This one is unnumbered and has seen quite a bit of use.
Like many Morgan Club de France badges, it was produced by Jim Baker.
It has been fitted to a badge bar with strength. Because of that, the tab is slightly bent and a little dark blue enamel between the F and R, below the R and below the C missing. The white enamel below the Morgan wings has cracked but is still there. It's a perfect badge to keep on using. Once fitted, the imperfections don't really show.
