Triumph became a major player on the market of open sports cars after the introduction of the TR series and later the Spitfire. In the 1970s followed the V8 engined Stag, mainly aimed at the USA market. There were 2 versions built, with either a 2.5 litre or 3 litre engine.
 
Nowadays there are quite a few specialists, who also convert the Stag to adapt the 3.5 litre V8 Rover engine, which was used in a number of different British cars.
 
The collectors card has a nice picture and brief history and technical data on the rear.
