This certainly applies to the Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa, as it was in the late 1950s and early 1960s. It has great history in the Le Mans 24 Hours race, for example.
 
Here is a well detailed scale 1/18 model of this lovely car in maroon. This model is in excellent condition, but unfortunately comes without its original box.
 
Great for any display.
