The New Forest centre was responsible for one of the earliest badges issued by a centre of the Morgan Sports Car Club. It was issued around 1980.
 
Not surprisingly, Melvyn Rutter (who also produced the 1910 - 1980, 70 Years of Morgan badge) was involved in producing this badge! The centre has not issued another centre badge since.
 
Many copies were proudly displayed on Morgans. Good examples of this badge are therefore now rare. There are several slightly different versions from that era.
