One of the first full size books ever published about Morgan and still one of the best!

Gregory Houston Bowden was the first person to undertake the massive task of documenting the history of the Morgan car and the Morgan Motor Company, as his thesis for modern history. That was the book "Morgan First and Last of the Real Sports Cars".

While doing research for that, he visited many long time Morgan enthusiasts and of course went through the Morgan family archives and those of the Morgan Factory.

A nice section covers the publicity of Morgan over the years, while the competition side is not forgotten either.

This resulted in what still is one of the best balanced Morgan books. It is full of early pictures, both regarding three-wheelers and four-wheelers. Of course, a number of the stalwarts who contributed to the book, published in the second half of the 1970s, are no longer with us.

The book counts 224 pages, is hard bound and has some colour plates. About half of the book is devoted to the three-wheelers. One can go through the books for hours and still discover new things.

This is the revised edition, which is printed on thicker paper than the original version. As a result, it takes a little more space on your book shelf and is also heavier. A very nice well balanced book!

Essential for any Morgan library! One copy only.
