The Morgan Roadster was the successor to the Rover-engined Morgan Plus 8, when this was phased out in late 2003. Equipped with a Ford 6-cylinder engine, it was Morgan's first production model with a 6-cylinder engine. It soon got its own niche in the Morgan-market and a dedicated following.
