A classic, timeless beauty, this shield shape badge made for Morgans 75th anniversary in 1984. At this memorable event, no less than 1524 Morgans turned up.

This was the first car badge ever issued by the Morgan Motor Company. It was designed by Jim Baker.
 
Peter Morgan preferred the cream background of this traditional shield shape badge. Two other prototypes, with a light blue and a maroon background, were discarded. FAKE blue copies do turn up regularly in India, so don't be fooled into these!
 
This badge is a much-desired item, even 40+ years after the event. A badge not to be missed in a collection of serious devotees.
