Texas' oldest Morgan club is the Dallas based Morgan Motor Car Club Texas. They issued a grille badge in 1980, which featured the familiar star, with Morgan wings, the club name surrounding the star, with TEXAS on top.
 
There are at least three versions of this badge. The two most common ones have a transparent red rim and either gold or silver laurel wreath, Morgan wings and lettering. Less common is the version with smooth red rim.
 
On offer here is the version with transparent red rim and gold lettering/wings/laurel wreath. The screws are impeccable (often these are missing. The badge has never been used on a car and was always treasured. A great find!
