Morgan appeared in the Le Mans 24 Hours race for the first time in 1938. Preparations had been going for some time of course. The Le Mans cars (and likewise the Le Mans Replica cars sold to the public) had a single spare wheel on a sloping rear panel.
 
The regular 4/4 two-seaters of that era of course had twin spare wheels. So these rare beasts are easy to tell apart.
 
The poster was designed by George Oliver, and measures approx. 19 x 14 inches. It in very nice conditon. Great to frame.
