In the early years of this century, the Morgan Motor Company initiated a special company as a brand for its products that were "out of the ordinary", Aero Racing. Here one could order special products, such as anniversary versions or even one-off cars on an existing theme.
 
One of the special cars produced was the Morgan +4 Super Sports 60th anniversary model, which appeared on the market in 2011.
 
It was a model for the 60th anniversary of the Morgan Plus 4, inspired by the famous +4 Super Sports cars from the 1960s. The model was available in 6 different colour schemes, with as easy tell tale the yellow surround on the cowl, to mark the grille.
