California has two long time Morgan clubs: the southern California based Morgan Plus Four Club and the Morgan Sports Car Club Northern California. The main base of this club is around San Francisco.
 
It has issued some very memorable car badges over the years. For the club's 45th anniversary, they issued this lovely design, featuring a Morgan Aero three-wheeler and a high cowl Morgan Plus 4. Particularly the latter model is extremely unusual to find on a badge.
 
The large oval brass badge was made in two varieties:
a day badge, with a brighter sky
a night badge, with a dark sky
 
It is a multi-coloured badge anyway, which makes it more complex and expensive to produce. These badges hardly appear on the market.
