The year 1960 marked the year in which the Morgan Motor Company celebrated its 50th anniversary.
 
The Morgan 4/4 Series III became known retrospectively as Golden Anniversary model, as it was introduced in the jubilee year. It was built in very small numbers only. This is probably the only official Morgan Motor Company advert in which the model was mentioned.
 
Above it appeared a picture of the elegant Morgan Plus 4 Drophead Coupé, which was shown with whitewall tyres. 
 
This is a great advert to have for collectors of Morgan memorabilia or owners of the models involved. It appeared in the October 1960 issue of The Motor, the Motor Show issue of that year.
