Jaguar really got going with the introduction of the XK series. The ultimate you can find between these models is the XK SS, which is in fact the street going version of the Jaguar D-Type, which won many competitions, including the Le Mans 24 Hours race.
 
Unfortunately, a huge fire destroyed the premises where the Jaguar XK SS were made and only 16 cars were made. These are without exception valuable collectors' items.
 
The collectors card has a nice picture and brief history and technical data on the rear.
