The Bugatti Royale Coupé de Ville was one 6 original cars of the type. It was one of the personal cars of Ettore Bugatti. The real car ended up in the collection built up by the Schlumpf brothers in the Alsace, close to the place where the Bugatti factory used to be.
 
The museum was later taken over by the French government, as it was considered of national historic importance.
 
This Bugatti Royale has appeared at several historic events. This Solido model is nicely detailed, but comes without its original box.
