Tyrrell caused a sensation in the Formula 1 scene in the 1970s, when the brand introduced the first 6-wheeled formula 1 car, the Tyrrell P34, with 4 small front wheels, instead of the usual two. The car was introduced in the Spanish Grand Prix in 1976.
Effectively, the car lasted just over a year, as in the second half of 1977 the project was abandoned, despite a few wins.
As Tyrrell was the only manufacturer to use this setup, the small front tyres became too costly and the 6-wheeler Formula 1 car became history.
ELF was the main sponsor of the Tyrrell team and produced a 15 cms wide decal featuring the Tyrrell 6-wheeler Formula 1 car.
Solely one copy is in stock, a rare find!
