The first Morgan Aero Max was built especially for Eric Sturdza, a personal friend of Charles Morgan.
 
He was President of the Executive Board of the famous Barings Bank. When the car had been completed, it was used for an advertising campaign of the bank.
 
The full-page advert appeared in several magazines, but is now hard to find.
