The first badge ever issued by the Morgan Motor Company was designed by Jim Baker for the 75th anniversary of Morgan back in 1984, for the memorable event where 1524 Morgans turned up.
 
Peter Morgan preferred the cream background of this traditional shield shape badge. Two other prototypes, with a light blue and a maroon background were discarded. FAKE blue copies do turn up occasionally, so don't be fooled into these!
 
This badge is a much desired item, even so many years after the event. A badge not to be missed in a collection of serious devotees.
 
Good copies are now hard to find.
